Limited Capacity filling up

Learn how to innovate curriculum through the iterative work of upgrading what’s currently taught. Effective assessment practice is a cornerstone of high-quality curriculum, and authentic assessments that connect learning to real life application can be a powerful tool to ignite student engagement. In this hands-on session we’ll focus on upgrading our summative assessment practices by walking through the process of starting with the learning goals of an existing unit to collaboratively develop a performance-task. While not a requirement, we invite attendees to bring a unit of their own to work on during the session!
